Welcome to REIM. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the reimleather.com website and your purchase of products from REIM. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. General

REIM is a Norwegian company specialising in handmade leather belts crafted in Norway from premium Italian leather. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer") and REIM. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting to this page. Your continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.

2. Products & Orders

All products listed on our website are subject to availability. We make every effort to display product colours and details as accurately as possible, but slight variations may occur due to screen settings and the natural characteristics of leather.

When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirmation constitutes our acceptance of your order and forms a binding contract. We reserve the right to cancel any order if the product is unavailable, if there is a pricing error, or if we suspect fraudulent activity.

Each belt is handmade to order. As such, minor variations in colour, texture, and finish are inherent to the product and are not considered defects.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in the applicable currency and include VAT where required. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. Your payment information is handled entirely by Stripe and is subject to Stripe's Terms of Service. REIM does not store your full card details.

4. Shipping & Delivery

We offer the following shipping options:

Delivery times are estimates and not guarantees. REIM is not responsible for delays caused by customs, postal services, or other circumstances beyond our control. Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery.

5. Returns & Refunds

We offer a 30-day return policy from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return:

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund to the original payment method within 14 business days. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet the above conditions.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, logos, graphics, product designs, and software, is the property of REIM and is protected by Norwegian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our prior written consent.

7. User Accounts

When you create an account on our website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. REIM is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, REIM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of our website or products.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product in question. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Norwegian law.

9. Force Majeure

REIM shall not be liable for any failure or delay in fulfilling obligations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, government actions, pandemics, strikes, or disruptions to transport or supply chains.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience only. REIM does not endorse or assume any responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may also be entitled to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
