"I want people to buy one belt and never think about belts again."
I kept buying belts that fell apart. The leather cracked, the buckles rusted, the stitching came undone. At some point I just thought — I'll figure out how to make one myself. Got some Italian leather, watched a lot of videos, ruined a lot of hides. Eventually I made one I was happy with.
It's still just me in a small workshop in Norway. I source the leather from Tuscany, the buckles from Italy, and I do everything else by hand. No factory, no employees, no rush. I make one product and I take my time with each one.
